Christmas on the LaHave Parade of Lights
November 26, 2022

Thank you for joining us November 26th at the Christmas on the LaHave Parade of Lights. It was a cold night but the smiles along the parade route were as bright as the lights on the floats! I think everyone will agree that little Hudson Fleck rocked it as the Parade Marshall.

A special thank you to our Rhyno's-team and our co-sponsors, Nature's Reflections Landscaping Ltd., that helped to ensure it was a successful event!
We're already discussing plans for next year!

Rhyno's in the Classroom
November 7 - 18, 2022
From November 7th to November 18th Rhyno’s Red Seal HVAC/R technician, Blaine Swinimer, has had the pleasure of working with 16 Parkview Education Centre Grade 11 Constructions Trade students. The students were shown how to install four mini-splits inside four mini-shed/homes that the class had instructed.

Rhyno’s is extremely proud of the students for their hard work and willingness to learn. Blaine did a fantastic job and we know he has made an impact on the students.

We would like to thank the Construction Trades teacher, Allan Muir, for giving Rhyno’s an opportunity to get into the classroom to talk about our trades, what we do in the community, and the value of careers in the trades. We look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come.
We definitely think there are some trades-professionals coming out of Parkview in the near future. Trades Construction Students, best of luck with the rest of your program and future goals.

On November 14th, our Service Manager Yvette, Red Seal Plumber Geoff, and HVAC/R Apprentice Stephanie, met with students from Shelburne Regional High School’s O2 and Co-op classes to talk about careers in the trades and why they love working in them.
At Rhyno’s, we are proud of all our trades-professionals and the impact they have on the upcoming generations by sharing their passion for the trades.

Tim Horton's Smile Campaign for Cystic Fibrosis
September 23, 2022
In January of 2019 local business man Camren Fleck and his wife, Sarah, welcomed Hudson to their family. After a stay in the IWK Children’s Hospital, Hudson was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a chronic, progressive and frequently fatal genetic disease.

On September 19th - 25th all Tim Hortons locations in Bridgewater donated all proceeds from the purchase of smile cookies to helping those living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Rhyno’s is proud to support this initiative and stand with Hudson and his family in their fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
Keep Smiling Hudson!

Pink Shirt Day in support of Stand Up Against Bullying
September 8, 2022

Today, and everyday, Rhyno’s is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for our colleagues, clients, friends and family. We recognize the seriousness of bullying and the issues it causes in our schools, workplaces, homes and online.
That’s why we proudly participated in Pink Shirt Day in support of Stand Up Against Bullying Day. Together, we can work together to raise awareness of these issues.
Pink Shirt Day was born out of students in Berwick coming together after one of their colleagues was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. In recognition of this, Nova Scotia proclaimed the second Thursday of September Stand Up Against Bullying Day.
