We all know that anything mechanical needs maintenance at some point. This package includes 24hr service, annual or bi-annual maintenance, a percentage off repair parts, and our priority service.

Your heating and cooling system is one of the most important investments you will ever make. Without heat, pipes can freeze and ultimately burst and without cooling, expensive hardwood floors can warp. Maintaining your equipment will not only protect your home from damage but keep your family safe and comfortable year round.

Much like your vehicle, regular maintenance will keep your equipment in top operating condition—helping you to maximize its efficiency and reduce power and fuel bills. Clean coils, clean filters, smooth functioning burners, exhaust fans and pumps are amongst a host of items that go together to make a well balanced and economical heating, air conditioning and ventilating system.

Waiting for equipment to breakdown is often costly. By the time some problems are detected, the life of your equipment may already be shortened. Air conditioner compressors have to work harder when there are dirty filters and/or blocked air passages from clogged coils.

We were so fortunate to hear of Rhyno’s Ltd – here was a company to solve our problems. We are enjoying our new A/C Heat Pump.

You sent a knowledgeable pair of workers – Ryan, Blaine & Claudette. Ryan and Blaine work so well together and Claudette is like a book. She sure knows her job – Rhyno’s is lucky to have her. I engaged the services of Rhyno’s Ltd, of Bridgewater, NS on the recommendation of a local business man. I asked and they provided me with a quote on a heat pump, with a specific capacity and as well gave me an alternative that was about $1500 cheaper, carried a better warranty and was also made by a reputable manufacturer. The installation was relatively simple, as the heat pump was a direct replacement for an electric hot air furnace. However, the installation occurred during the coldest week in February, and they made sure that I was never without heat. They followed up afterwards and made sure that I was a satisfied customer.

They are a professional and competent group to deal with and I recommend them for HVAC work.

Northfield District Fire Chief John Mackay has worked with two generations of Rhynos: First Harry, and now his son, Jayme.

“I started a business about two years ago and I built a workshop. Rhyno’s installed a new furnace. They did a nice job, they were on time, I was very happy with the whole thing. I heat my building for a few hundred dollars a year. They recommended an oil-fired furnace and it’s a beautiful thing. “In the house we had wood and oil, but we had trouble heating the upstairs – it didn’t have the power to push the heat up. Harry Rhyno recommended and installed an oil furnace. We only had one opportunity for an emergency call, they were here within an hour and it was done. “Jayme has done several jobs at the fire hall. We were heating upstairs and downstairs with the same ductwork and going through oil like crazy – thousands of dollars worth. We got several quotes, several suggestions and Jayme’s was the best and the easiest. We’re very happy. Even the guys say, “Man it’s nice in here!” As a company to deal with, they’re excellent. I’ve been here since 1974 and have dealt with several oil companies to service the furnace. If you ask me, that’s like asking the fox to look after the chickens! “Jayme is taking over very well from his dad. He’s very friendly, always glad to see you – his father was much the same.”

Rhyno’s looks after two Atlantic Wholesalers warehouses in Halifax delivering dependable refrigeration and roof top air conditioning. They’re called on to ensure the offices are a comfortable working environment as well as keeping the computers operating smoothly – they’re what oversees the all-important deliveries to stores throughout the region. “We’ve had Rhyno’s look after servicing since September ’06. They’re very good. Very good. We have three buildings – 200,000 square feet. We have to make sure those computers are working. They’re in small rooms and they run hot – they need to be cool. Rhyno’s air conditioning keeps them cool. We have preventative maintenance every three months – it was a good business decision.”
