In 1975, Harry and Sharon Rhyno started the business, mostly appliances and refrigeration, working out of their Riverport home. In 1979, they brought on another technician and from there, the business has grown steadily. By 1985 they were concentrating on Heating, Cooling, Ventilation and Refrigeration. To house their expanded business, they relocated Rhyno's just off Bridgewater's Exit 12 on North Street.
Harry Rhyno started the business in 1975. Now his son, Jayme, is Manager of Operations and is preparing to take over.
Their son, Jayme, was 13 when he started working with his father summers and weekends. After graduating from high school, he joined the technical side of the business and began studying for his refrigeration license. In 2006, Manager of Operations wrote and passed the exam and now holds his Inter Provincial Journeyman Licence with the Red Seal.

In June, 1994, Bob Legere of Shelburne asked several
contractors for quotes on air conditioning - Rhyno's came out on top. Since then,
Rhyno's has looked after their system, and in August 2005, they installed hot water heating.
